I am an American who generally make cakes from scratch, but British Essentials showed up in my Facebook feed and I thought it would be fun to try out a couple of items. This cake mix with the Cadbury icing is excellent - did not have the “cake mix” undertaste of the American versions of Betty Crocker mixes.

Who on earth cares if the mixes have ingredients that are not “healthy?” Cake is not intended to be a health food….it is a treat we have on occasion!

For anyone that cares to live & not die before age 50 might want to check the unhealthy ingredients on the package as i would never put this cake in my body no matter how Great! it might taste as Sugar is listed as the very 1st ingredient which is seriously bad plus it has Propane, Ammonia & a flour treatment agent - Sounds more like a Death Cake instead of a Coffee Cake - i didn’t even see coffee listed as 1 of the ingredients, i wonder why? very scary!!!

Have not made the cake yet..
Will give my opinion as soon as I have made it

Betty Crocker mixes are always good, quick and easy to make in a hurry.
