Wherever we travel in the world, us Brits love a curry. Vindaloo, Rogan Josh (Has to be a Lamb one!) we adore all curries and have made it synonymous with British as well as Asian culture. Along with sides packed with carbs this meal is a flavour sensation combination!
Fun Facts!
30 of some years ago, Britain’s high streets met curry with a raised eyebrow and a feeling of fearful change, they didn’t know that curry had arrived, put its bags down and got comfy. It dramatically changed the culture of food in this lovely little island. Curry houses started to be common place bringing the British out of their homes to eat. Changing the way we think about restaurants in general, No more is it a expensive activity for the elite. You can pop out for a curry midweek!
Fast-forward to 2018 and we’re all curry eating fanatics! We have more curry houses than some cities in Asia. With two thirds of our eating out experiences based around Indian/Asian foods. So in short, (along with our other eating habits) We love a fish and chips on a friday, chinese on a saturday, and a curry midweek! isnt diversity great!
